• My best stories (west to east) were: The American Airlines bicycle delay, Damaging my front rim, Stealth camping in cow pastures, The flat tires, Hitting the wall on Day #11, The gorgeous silver city  hotels, The hike-a-bike to Cristo Rey, Beguiling Guanajuato, Splendid San Miguel Allende, The crazy off-road to Monte Alban

• I had over ten flat tires

• My mechanical issues included a damaged front rim (from day two), a broken front rack bolt, a missing front left pannier screw, in addition to lost gear, and a sheered Wahoo mount. 

• I had 0 rain days 

• Every day I rode in shorts, a short sleeve jersey, and sandals

• The coldest nighttime temperatures were below freezing on day #7 and close to it on day #17

• I stealth camped 9 nights

• I spent 11 nights in a hotel

• I was honked at by 2 motorists on days 10 and 14

• dozens of road kill animals were seen including dogs, cattle, & skunks)

• Wildlife documented: squirrels, coyote, crows, hawks, agave, cactus, morning glory trees

• Beer sampled: Victoria, Dos Equis
